The property has been decorated and furnished with a stylish and contemporary theme, keeping fixtures and fittings simple and modern. The kitchen benefits from a large utility room with butler's sink, food store, second full height fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and stable door to garden. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, microwave, induction hob, double oven, full height fridge, central island with bar stools and all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you would expect in a fully functioning house.

The main sitting room is stocked with books, games and dvds for guests' usage, large flat screen tv, dvd player and stereo. It opens into a large dining area with small desk and large dining table and chairs. The "snug" in the original cottage also has a flat screen tv and dvd player and leads to a large coat cupboard and downstairs toilet.

Outside there is a large granite terrace with a beautiful etched glass table and chairs which makes a stunning lunch or dinner spot looking out onto the river and oriented to capture the sun with a full view of the windmill. Outside lights illuminate the garden and the windmill at night to dramatic effect.

The five bedrooms upstairs have a mixture of wardrobe and drawer space, Egyptian cotton linen and fluffy white towels in the two modern bathrooms (one with a bath / shower and the other a walk in shower). You can bath / shower in either enjoying uninterrupted views over open countryside with just the odd bittern, barn owl or possibly a highland cow returning your gaze.
